If this turns out to be the beginning of another civil war do any of you see the irony of democrats being responsible for both civil wars?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I really can't imagine even Trump sending in tanks to 'forcibly take back' six blocks currently being occupied by people with the nerve to point out that the system is broken. The LAST thing he wants this close to the election is the inevitable comparison to Brezhnev and the Prague Spring.

(Lastly building a blockades to keep the cops out is a completely different affair then Trump's cruel attempt at keep asylum seekers out )

But remember people video clips are the most reliable way to judge something because those are never misleading or are ever used to push a misleading narrative

And it's like the right wing media would ever dishonestly edited something to suit there pro Trump talking points

RE: is Seattle the new fort Sumter?
The reality is that people are protesting and will probably continue to protest all the way to elections because Trump is incapable of calming down people and let alone making any changes. So this is actually the collapse of Trump's presidency.

And on the other hand, you have people like Drich who can't wait to take out their guns and start shooting at people. They can't wait for some bloodbath, and Fox news, along with Trump, are feeding them with paranoia to do it. Like in this case they are creating a picture like Chaz is this scenario out of Mad Max.
