Marxism among the black people. Ultimately who cares, I doubt most of the people in BLM could even tell you who Karl was, wouldn't know the first thing about his ideas. Sure we have many academics that are enamored with Marxism and lets be honest Marxist have been very good writers, some of the most voluminous writers in history.
It all sounds good on paper until you actually put it into action and then it turns into a nightmare. Once the Russian Revolution got into full swing, many of the Anarchists that were once fond of the ideas put forth by Marx, Lenin, Trotsky were horrified by what it actually became and ran for the lives if they lived in Russia. The best approach for anyone has always been a very very small government, so small you can't even see it. That means no funding for a Police and Prison State, no funding for wars, no legislators, prosecutors, cops. You have a voluntary system were we take care of each other, but we have no power to force someone to do something we'd like them to do, if they don't want to contribute then they shouldn't be forced to. College kids think about marxism. Visit any well stocked library and you will find hundreds of books that branch off Marxists ideas, I even like reading much of it.
I'll admit a government that forces atheism sounds pretty damn good, I would love to tear down all the churches, mosques, synagogues, temples ect. I'd be the first in line running bulldozers, I'd start up the barbecue to destroy all the religious texts, I'd destroy the law libraries as well. All of this dogmatic bullshit that has been shoved down our throats to create a society that subjugates our lives. For atheist Marxist/Communist writings are some of the most explicit explanations of why religion is evil. Those Commies really poured it on thick when it came to explaining the problems with religion. The only problem is they replaced it with worship of the state and deifying a leader.....which is just another form of bullshit religion. |
