The fact that you think Metallica and Twisted Sister are the same type of band proves that you know nothing John Snow.

If you are going to argue about taste that is a losing argument.

TS and Metallica were most certainly on the same motif. Metallica simply had more range and and appeal. 

If Metallica had made the same mistake they would have died just as quickly.

If AC/DC had covered the same song in the same way, they too would have died.


The song TS covered was a classic, and worthy of hall of fame, but it was a pop song, not a metal song. "Leader Of The Pack" was a pop song, not a metal song.


If  Rush or Queen or Pink Floyd attempted a cover of "Leader Of The Pack" they would have flopped the same way TS did with that song.

Again...missed point.

Being loud and having long hair doesn't make a band metal.

Metallica also did "Nothing Else Matters". Now between that song and "I Wanna Rock" please don't talk about loud. Because "Nothing Else Matters" was more of a ballad than loud.
