No?

Because it is not criminal or civil law.

18 US Code Section 700 - Desecration of the flag of the United States; penalties

Quote:(a)
(1)
Whoever knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both.
(2)
This subsection does not prohibit any conduct consisting of the disposal of a flag when it has become worn or soiled.

It is a law that you can't use your flag as an article of clothing. If you do, you can be punished for doing so.

To repeat, just because the law is never enforced and breaking it is never punished doesn't mean it isn't a law.

Why the fuck are you arguing this?

Do you really tkhink you know more about this country and how it works than somebody who has lived here for over 60 years?

Is your fucking ego really that big?

I have made it a habit to burn a US flag every morning.

Having lived somewhere doesn't mean diddly on any particular subject . Especially when the internet exists and we live in a globalist world

Apparently your ego is big enough to believe you know everything about the states and no smelly foreigner could know more about a particular aspect of it

Why the fuck are you arguing this?

Do you really think that your personal, poorly informed opinion takes precedence over the evidence that had be repeatedly shown to you?

Is your fucking skull really that thick?

Anyway, I accept that you’ve conceded the argument.

Whaddya mean ‘smelly’? I shower once a month, whether I need it or not (twice a month in the summer).

I'm going to veer back to the OP. When I lived in South Carolina the flags flying from the backs of "pickemup" trucks were a common sight. Most common was the rebel flag....sometimes with an American Flag and sometimes just two rebel flags flapping from the back of the truck bed. When it was Klan rally weekend there was a steady stream of trucks and vans decked out with flags.

I tended to see motorcycles, particularly Harleys, flying full-sized American flags which I always thought was a bit of a safety issue. But I don't recall the riders flying the rebel flag.

Here, it's inadvisable (but I don't think illegal) to fly the NZ flag on a vehicle that isn't on government business. You can display it - placards, window decals, bumper stickers, etc - just not fly an actual flag. The government don't want civilian vehicles to be mistaken for government ones.

But from the pictures I've seen of US pick up trucks, I REALLY don't think anyone would assume those were on government business. Smile

You'd think more Ford F-450 Compensator trucks would fly the flag. I mean, any distraction...

Another common sight was random rundown trailers with HUGE rebel flags attached to the side...like in wallpaper style, not flying.  It was the international sign for "toothless rednecks live here".
