Outside of being deliberatively provocative, which doesn't seem classy, not sure how to get them to participate. Tak chimes in, but he's clearly got a life to attend to.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

My late Catholic mother and I never agreed on much. She raised me Catholic, but I ditched that position in my 20s eventually to take the position that no type of deity/god/God/super natural existed.

But, if one were to ask me who you would want on your side, my late mother ALWAYS had my back.

We have always been a diverse and mixed species. And in the last 200 years, at least in the west, we have learned to live with our diversity.

I think the way you deal with theists is to round them up, tar and feather them, and force them to listen to ABBA 24/7. And never ask help during hurricanes.

(Note To Self, Did I think this, or type it?)

In all seriousness, I hate how our species clings to mythology, and thinks locally and tribally. But I will never hate that we as a species are also capable of great compassion despite our differences.

anything not overtly just a provoking an argument. Seeking our opinions seems less important than providing a place for atheists to hang and share their interests and vent on theists. I try and keep up with what I can though. I normally just use today's threads , or respond to mentions.

How about: ‘Why are you a believer?’ It’s something that both lifelong non-theists and deconverts are often puzzled by.

Also, a thread that hasn't been done 50 different times would be helpful. The forums to have a search function.
