It may be included as income on your taxes next year, not 100% sure on that, but the tax on $1,200.00 isn't going to kill you.

Just sign it and do what you will with it.  This isn't life or death.  It's not rocket science.  Cash the damn check.  Buy something you want or need around the house, go to the dentist, donate it, put it in a secret stash box under your bed, burn it, buy a new lawn mover cover...FFS.

Jesus F Christ you are such a miserable, whiny weenie.

That one made me laugh. Hilarious

Glad I made you laugh.

Of course the real reason for this thread is to be able to switch from constant reminders of paying for the best friend's trip to Australia to I gave my stimulus to my best friend because he needs it.

Such a crock of shit.

Supposedly, they’ve been discussing sending out a second check.

Oh, dear...if they do that, Brian’s moral dilemma will double.

When he's caught for cashing the first check he can cash the second to bail himself out. Even Steven.

A second stimulus check will be a good reason to start another thread.

RE: I got a Stimulus check.
Why do they call it "stimulus"?
Buying food? Yeah, I feel wealthy today, I might buy a McHappy meal as a treat!
All this money is for survival. Food and shelter and bills.
Nothing to do with stimulating the economy.

It's basically here, have some crumbs, just enough to stop short of a civil revolution.

(As an aside, Trump has hand picked 11 out of the 12 members of the FED board.)
That corrupt piece of steaming dog turd MUST go this Nov for your sake.

When he said Make America Great Again, he meant for him, not the rest of America.
Thankfully, it's starting to unravel. But the long term collateral damage for the US will be permanent.

Gold has hit new highs again today. Why? Gold hasn't changed. The purchasing power of the US peso has.
All this money printing is coming home to roost. The cost of living will skyrocket in the next few years irrespective.
"Expanding the money supply" IS the definition of "inflation". Everything else is a smokescreen.

RE: I got a Stimulus check.
Some details on the first stimulus check per the IRS website...simple Google search answers all.

The $1,200.00 amount is to be paid to individuals who made up to $75K and couples filing jointly will get $2,400.00 (2*1200) up to $150K.  The income is based on the adjusted gross income on your tax filing from 2018 if your 2019 wasn't done in time. After those income thresholds are met the amount of the stimulus check will be reduced incrementally for amounts over those stated above.  Once an individual hits $99K and a couple $198K there is no payment to be made. There were also $500.00 payments sent for dependent children.

The first stimulus check is NOT considered taxable income.

They are still hammering out the details of a possible second check but the details will probably be similar.  Different amounts paid and perhaps different income levels as a cutoff.
