This could have a supernatural explanation. Maybe Jesus was pushing that plate because Jesus was judged by Pilate which is a very close an almost-anagram of 'plate'. I mean if you remove letter "i" from Pilate you get "plate" and in ancient Greek, Jesus is spelled with an "i" - Iesus.

And it was on a table during a meal - and meal preceded Iesus' meeting with the Pilate so it all makes sense. Jesus was probably saying to you "It's me, Jesus" by moving that plate. Or maybe Jesus was trying to warn you by pushing that plate toward some person who will soon betray you.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I can't figure out what a ghost plate is supposed to do with atheism. Somebody wants to claim that they saw stoneware move. Fine, and?

Asking tackattack to say anything intelligemt on well established phenomena is like asking a goldfish to ride a bicycle. It will never happen.

So how did it move on it's own? it's like a hand just grab it and moved it. I would like sceptics views and atheist because I do understand atheist views about god and why we shouldn't believe in him but at the same time I'm not sure about life after death because I just seen the saucer moved. any thoughts I would appreciate?

Sounds like a cheap parlor trick to me. Have you considered the possibility that you were being pranked by one or more of the witnesses?

If the saucer was wet underneath, it could literally be floating on a pocket of trapped air.  Or, vibrations in the earth from construction or earthquake.  But yes, pranking is also a possibility.  Or power of suggestion.

I am curious why anyone would be sitting at a table with a saucer on it all of it's lonesome. Seems an odd thing to do.

I am also curious why "plate" is being mentioned at all. OP clearly said it was a saucer. Where did "plate" come from?

I am further curious if anyone else has noticed just how malleable this whole thing is. We now have a schism between those who claim a saucer and those who claim a plate.

Welcome to how christianity actually works. In a couple of days we already have a schism about the detail of an utterly pointless claim. What would happen in centuries? Would the saucerists go to holy war with the platists? Probably.

If you sleep in the same house as bedeviled tableware, you already have your answer.

And "lying". Always an option.

Your answer isn't helpful and not funny. I came for opinions not jokes.

The saucer weren't on it's own dummy, it happened in a tourist cafe place in Rochester Kent in England. We had tea, there was cups and a saucer with it.

The saucer shook for some reason you're not aware of in a place you're not exactly familiar with enough to know all its ins and outs. Therefore ... ?
