I simply state we don't know the reason behind this action - we can only make assumptions.

And - I doubt it put the SS guys atbany more risk t han usual.

As unpopular as this president is -were I a member of his security detail - I would be more concerned about a weapon assault or bombing than I would be about C19....
Let's think about this...his little drive to wave at supporters was either part of his medical plan or it was a photo op.

What do you suppose is most likely?

Do you really think that the doctors prescribed a little ride around the neighborhood as a good course of action for someone who has been hospitalized, is receiving a huge cocktail of meds, and has been on and off oxygen for the last few days?

I don't know.

Have I not made that clear?

....

None of us here (that I am aware) have access to his medical records and would be making guesses if I did. Also - I don't have access to his advisors - or what they are telling him.

I DO know that in the past - leaders of other countries who were secluded for any period of time had problems keeping things under control...... If he disappeared from view for a month - it might start a scramble for power... Even more so this close to an election.

There are enough variables that an assessment drawn from a few talking heads is probably not a very good idea.

If you have made your mind up otherwise - that's your perogative.

Good thing she has taken care to be on any reasonable list of the top ten most deserving person for this honor.

RE: Trump has covid.
It seems that people usually die from Coronavirus because they wait for days for test results, they are not let into the hospitals, and if they are they are discharged to lie at home until they can't breathe, and then they wait for hours for the ambulance car to arrive.

They don't get treatments that Trump and other more important people do in the hospital because, you know, if everyone got the same treatment it would be socialism. They don't get remdesivir, no plasma, no antibody therapy.

Back in April there was a news about a man from Detroit who died from Covid-19 after 3 hospitals refused to let him in, a man who pays taxes, while Trump who didn’t pay taxes for decades is being treated at the six big rooms of the most expensive hospital facility in the world.

Or another important man, Chris Christie, who got into the hospital immediately after being diagnosed, as a precaution.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Then why is it logical to assume he left the hospital to get attention?

RE: Trump has covid.
Because he's a  narcissist who demands constant attention and even being out of the spotlight for a day is pure torture for him . So even if it meant risking his life he would opt to get his fix from his moron fans .

Why would he leave the hospital for a ride around the block?

It’s much more logical to assume he rode around an air-tight bullet proof car For a few minutes to get some fresh air.     Or he just thought it was funny to lock a few member so the deep state (his security detail) in a airtight box with a Covid-19 superspreader, like himself.
