Landslide for Labour!
With just 40% of the votes counted, Labour leads National 50% to 26%, and have already secured a majority in parliament.

I hope they get 69% of the votes. Wouldn't that be nice?

Is it Labour™ or Labor™?

The Aussie party got it's name from the US spelling.

'Labour'.  We spell things properly in New Zealand.

97% of votes counted.  Labour: 49% National: 27%, the balance spread over other parties.

This is going to give Labour 64 seats, which means they can - if they so choose - govern without a coalition.

I don't follow politics much. Do you consider this a good or bad thing?

I’m sincerely delighted (no sarcasm).
