Your election results are better than ours will be, sadly enough. We may get better than we currently have, but not that much. It's a long row to hoe.

Well, Ms Ardern is only 40. Once she’s done here, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind hopping over and helping your lot sort things out.

My early in person voting didn't start until the 15th, my poling place was packed two days ago. I live in a rural county so I didn't think it would stay packed. It was still busy today, but not even close to the 15th.

My absentee ballot came this past week, but I haven't done anything with it. The drop location doesn't open until Tuesday. Maybe I'll fill it out Monday.

I'll be voting next Saturday. Our ballot drop off location is only open while I'm at work except for the next two Saturdays.

It looks as if we’re going to have wait a couple of weeks to find out the results of two referenda that were on the ballot - one for the decriminalization of recreation weed (both possessing and growing it) and one legalizing physician assisted suicide for the terminally ill.

I voted for both.

I filled mine out almost immediately upon getting it a couple weeks ago. And, Cook County being Cook County, most of the positions were Dems running unopposed. That said, we only sent ours out a few days ago.
