BREAKING: Macron vs Islam: or Macron vs Erdogan ?

BREAKING: Macron vs Islam: or Macron vs Erdogan ?
France's president Emmanuel Macron adopted a vicious campaign against Islam to hit Turkey under the belt, indeed the man is a politician and a pretty expected one, but Wikipedia documents that:

Quote:In July 2020, Macron called for sanctions against Turkey for the violation of Greece's and Cyprus' sovereignty, saying it is "not acceptable that the maritime space of (EU) member states be violated and threatened."[238] He also criticized Turkish military intervention in Libya.[239][240] Macron said that "We have the right to expect more from Turkey than from Russia, given that it is a member of NATO."[241]
.
.
.
In an interview with the French news magazine Marianne, Macron asserted that "secularism is not designed to promote a republican religion", and responded to comments by Manuel Valls and Jean-Pierre Chevènement regarding the practice of Islam in French society by condemning the notion that citizens should be "discreet" in their religious practice, stating that "historical precedents when we asked for discretion in matters of religion did not bring honor to the Republic."[403]

So, he officially declared war against Turkey and even favored Russia over it, and as it is expected in such scenario he began attacking Turkey's religion: Islam.

Quote:Also, Macron just escalated his stance to fight Islam itself and make himself "the hero of secular law", knowing that he didn't criticize Muslims only but also Jews:

He also condemned "religious schools that teach hatred towards the Republic, with instruction mainly in Arabic or, in other instances, which teach the Torah more than basic fundamentals."[403] This statement triggered an intense negative reaction from the Fonds Social Juif Unifié (FSJU), an organization that runs Jewish religious schools in France.[404]

But the worst he did was the following:

Quote:France's Macron: I won't condemn cartoons of Prophet Mohammad

https://www.reuters.com/article/france-c...SKBN25S672

Along with saying this:

But Turkey's president replied to him:

Now, there is an anti-French products campaign spreading widely in the Muslim world; demanding people to boycott French products.

Obviously I stand against Macron's childish and stupid game -his games and fantasies about becoming Napoleon cost a hell lot of innocent lives; especially Muslim ones -: my analysis is that he is getting hit so bad from Turkey, so he wants to indirectly declare war on this fellow NATO country.

It's actually Turkey who went haywire because of the cartoon of Muhammad and that Macron supported it as freedom of speech

Quote:France recalls Turkey envoy after Erdogan says Macron needs 'mental check'

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan insulted Emmanuel Macron when he said Mr Macron needed a mental health check for pledging to defend secular values and fight radical Islam.

Mr Macron has spoken out forcefully on these issues after a French teacher was murdered for showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in class.
France "will not give up our cartoons", he said earlier this week.

State secularism - or laïcité - is central to France's national identity. Curbing freedom of expression to protect the feelings of one particular community, the state says, undermines the country's unity.

Responding to Mr Macron's campaign to defend such values - which began before the teacher was murdered - Mr Erdogan asked in a speech: "What's the problem of the individual called Macron with Islam and with the Muslims?"

He added: "Macron needs treatment on a mental level.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

We know that the incident took place immediately after Turkey hit France's expansion in Libya, then hit France again in the Greece incident. Please read my OP carefully again:

.This has nothing to with Islam, but has all to do with a French madman who went furious and began hitting Turkish people under the belt. The cartoons were nothing more but a straw the French madman used to beat Erdogan in the balls.

The sarcastic thing is that in the middle of his rage; stupid Macron forgot that the real enemy is Putin's Russia.

I think Macron's issue is more religious separatism than religion. He's objecting to French Islamic society creating a state within a state.

I can agree to that if Macron didn't receive hard hits from Turkey concerning his military expansions in Africa and Syria:

Quote:In July 2020, Macron called for sanctions against Turkey for the violation of Greece's and Cyprus' sovereignty, saying it is "not acceptable that the maritime space of (EU) member states be violated and threatened."[238] He also criticized Turkish military intervention in Libya.[239][240] Macron said that "We have the right to expect more from Turkey than from Russia, given that it is a member of NATO."[241]

So he began hitting Turkey in the point giving it its influence and popularity: Islam.
Macron has many bigger issues to worry about than Islam; the protests of the Yellow Vests + the upcoming French elections can say pretty much that the man is facing a big crisis internally; and wants to present himself as the French patriot to the masses.

i.e he is creating a fight out of the blue to engage in and win the next elections. And in that madness he even shook hands with Putin.

French participation in the air strikes in Syria were both legal and justifiable (not sure what you mean by his expansions in Africa).

Macron won’t have much trouble presenting himself as a patriot - he IS a patriot, albeit in a DeGaullist sort of way. He does what he does for the good of France.

About Africa
https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/04/21/lib...ifa-haftar

Quote:The United Arab Emirates, backed by France, is helping to fuel continued bloodshed in the North African country.

.
.
.
France’s clandestine military support of Haftar began in Benghazi as early as 2015, with a view toward countering terrorism and restoring security in Libya. Paris’ support of the authoritarian Haftar looks inimical to its liberal-democratic values, but it is broadly in line with its efforts to develop military alliances with authoritarian leaders in other parts of Africa to secure the Sahel.

Macron isn't a patriot according to the opinions of Yellow Vest activists:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_vests_movement

Quote:General discontentment

Already low in early 2018 (47% approval in January 2018[81]), French President Emmanuel Macron's approval rating had dipped below 25% at the beginning of the movement.[82] The government's method of curbing the budget deficit had proven unpopular, with Macron being dubbed the "président des très riches" (president of the very rich) by his former boss, François Hollande.[83]

Macron is not a patriot whatsoever; he just wants to save his neck before the next elections; nothing could prevent another Yellow Vests but an imaginary battle with the same old fake boogyman.

Sometimes, Winter, a patriot will do things you don't like. Especially if that patriot lives in the west and the source of your ire is islam.
