My prediction.


Biden will win the popular vote AND the Electoral College.

Trump will bitch, piss and moan and file numerous lawsuits and the sniping from both sides will continue up till the innauguration.

Biden will assume office - and provided he doesn't die of old age will serve 4 to 8 years - getting virtually NOTHING changed. Millions will still die of C19. More black men will get shot by cops. More protests will follow. More businesses and governmental buildings will burn.

Both sides will blame all on the other.

4-8 years from now a ( R ) will win the presidency - promising "change".

Hopefully Biden is able to eliminate school debt and install a single payer healthcare system while (boggle) maintaining the current system that is connected with having a job.

Oh, and federally decriminalizing Marijuana.

My predictions.

Post election:

Biden will win and win bigly - a margin of at least ten million popular votes, and he will garner at least 350 EC votes. Trump will demand a recount in at least five states, but none of the margins will be close enough to allow it. Trump will then demand an investigation into voter fraud, which will fizzle out due to silliness of the idea. He will then ask the Supreme Court to weigh in and they will decline to do so.

The forgoing will take about a week, after which Trump will gracelessly concede. He will wait out his lame duck period at one of his resorts, and will take no part in the transition. He will not attend Biden’s inauguration. 

Further out:

Biden will die in office a little more than two years into his first term. Kamala Harris will be elected in her own right in 2024 and 2028. Following her second election, the Republican Party will officially dissolve and will rename itself The American White Nationalist Fascist Party (official slogan: ‘We’re Tired Of Pretending’).

I sincerely hope the orange skinned sack of crap is voted out of office, and Biden is polling pretty well so I doubt he'll win but..... Trump has a couple of big advantages.  1) Trump supporters don't fear coronavirus, Biden supporters do.  With Trump trying to throw out mail in votes, that would severely hurt Biden and I don't doubt for a second that the 6-3 Supreme Court would allow it.  Also 2) angry Trumpanzees, armed and more than willing to intimidate voters could scare liberals away from the polls.  While we're at it, we might as well consider that possibility 3) if there is a Russian election hack, they could change the vote counts for this election, too.  

I dunno.  As much as I hate Trump, part of me would actually prefer if he won the presidency and the democrats took the senate.  First off, he would be impeached and removed from office and he wouldn't be able to pass any bills.  Not to mention, his ridiculous behavior would only hurt republicans in mid terms and in the next presidential election.  Remember when Bush won a close election in 2004?  The GOP lost, big time, in 2006 and 2008 because of him.

Oh, he's a shitshow, no question, but if the dems win the election, he goes on trial and impeached for his antics.  If we're really lucky, assholes like Lindsey Graham and McConnell and the congressional republicans will have their dirty laundry aired in the process.  If he loses, I don't think anyone will be held accountable.  Just like Bush/Cheney, we'll just forget about all his impeachable, treasonist offenses while we establish the new presidency. 

If Biden wins and Trump is still publicly tried, yeah, that would be the best scenario.  But I don't see it happening.  Unfortunately.

Trump wont spend a day in prison. But he sure as hell will face civil suits for unpaid bills and for slander, liable and intentional infliction of emotional distress. And the tax man is going to come after his ass too.

Even without any of that, the loss alone will ruin his health. I bet if he loses, he will die of natural causes within 5 years.

I can live with him losing and dying broke.
