Anyone want to entertain me by making wild theories as to her disappearance?

I don't understand why people think Wesley was so much loved by the common folk™. An obnoxious know-it-all kid, geez.

Season three, episode three. The Survivors.
Moral dilemma, and I pose this question to you.
If you have seen the show, you know the premise of what this Almighty being did. But allow me to remind you and to let those unfamiliar know what happened.
This being had forsaken his powers in order to live with a human woman, to love her and age with her. He still had his powers, of course, he just didn't use them. An alien species shows up on their planet where a small colony resided. This powerful being has the ability to stop them, but he had already sworn to not kill. Therefore, these aliens kill the small colony. In his rage at seeing his beloved dead, the powerful being looses control for an instant and mass genocides an entire species. This powerful being considers what he did to be wrong.
Was he wrong? Perhaps he could have merely destroyed those who had attacked their colony. What say you?

^Yes! It was wrong. This isn't hard.
The Douwd, being immortal and seemingly all-powerful was actually quite refreshing, compared to the Q. Could you imagine Q with real morals? I can't.

I remember that episode. Contrary to what Picard said, we actually do have a word for it. Genocide.

Yes, what he did was wrong.
But (and bring on the fighting cocks) imagine mental strength to have that power and never use it, especially in an immortal race.
He lost control for a moment and a species died.
It was wrong but, considering his grief, it was kinda understandable that he lost control for a moment.

I thought I recognized a younger Ray Wise in Who Watches the Watchers.

Or Xenocide even, given he killed off a different species.
