On the .450 - it's recoil...
Even with a muzzle brake - it's pretty stiff recoil.
On par with a light stocked 30-06. Not something you want to plink with. Plus the barrel gets warm quick - 2 or 3 shots - so stringing groups is a real problem...
Dunno why ur 10/22 loosening. Did u use blue LocTite on the threads? (Recommended)

Yup to the blue Loc-Tite. And proper torque. It was the clamps on the dovetail that weren't holding. Sheet metal strength clamping ain't so good. The Pic rail solved that issue.

Got a BIG doe. At least 3 years old - as the sternum was bony. I did not weigh it - but two of us were barely able to get it in the back of the Gator. Best guess - over 180 llbs.
The .450 Bushmaster really does the job....
