Yes. But religion doesn’t just go away one day out of the blue—it takes many small change over a period of time.
I agree, I just don’t see how the toothless indignation of the US House is going to make Saudi Arabia re-think their blasphemy laws. The sort of change you’re talking about isn’t ever going to be imposed from the outside.
In other words, people who cane blasphemers in the public square aren’t likely to give a rat’s charbroiled bum what the US thinks about it.
