If I watch an hour documentary on WW2 I do not believe WW2 was fought in an hour.
But there are plenty of, say hostage standoffs, where the guy gives up shortly after the police show up.
Murder cases don't often get solved in a day. But some do. Same with missing person reports. Some take time, some the person is found alive or dead the next day.

I won't remember this guys name. The only bomber I can come up with off the top is Ted.

Imagine that - more information about the bomber. It's amazing how more comes to the surface when you allow the authorities to actually work on an investigation.

Cops were told he was building bombs in an RV at his house. They knocked on the door and didn't get an answer so they moved on and didn't escalate the report.

The authorities who supposedly wouldn't withhold information about him were warned over a year ago and did nothing to follow up. Maybe they didn't lie but they didn't do their damn job either.
Still can't find anything supporting large bone fragments.
