Stupid lady. I'd bet she misplaced her real cell phone or forgot where she put it down in her room or while she was out, then saw his similar looking cell phone and jumped to conclusions.

My late mother a couple of times sent me to a computer repair shop. The owner of the shop had the exact same color/model van I did. When I would visit the shop, when I walked out, I would go to his van thinking it was mine. 

So I guess it is illegal to own the same phone while black?

ETA - I hadn't actually watched the video when I posted that, just going with pattern. Scratched hand is quantifiable.

ETA2 - If the black looking teen HAD OF stolen the phone, would this have made headlines? 100,000 times, no - and the same goes for every disproportionately frequently occurring straight up guilty crimes these days in wokey woke west. Proportionate reporting? Of course fucking not. Go figure.

Are you unironically making a 13/50 meme to justify a woman tackling a minor for an action they didn't commit, and had no evidence for, but then getting angry that the story made the news?  I'm legitimately unsure how to read this, so maybe I got tripped up somewhere?

Maybe you should watch the video again. The father got his hand scratched, the son was tackled. This woman attacked two people because she was stupid enough or careless enough to leave her phone in a car.
