Dolly the Sheep

Dolly the Sheep
The account in Genesis 2 (and the repeated moral teaching in the Gospels) surrounding the appearance of Eve is believed by many Christians to be an absolutely true occurrence, and not allegorical.

Whilst the moral teaching of family unity and its benefits can be lauded, the physical process of getting to a family is bizarre if the tale is true and the bible and their god's methods are the exemplars.

Dolly (1996-2003) was the first mammal to be cloned from an adult cell. God didn't know cloning could be done like that, so he used a full rib of poor Adam's, then changed the DNA and chromosomes, to create Eve.

So in order to propagate the species and maintain family unity, you have to:

Get yourself cloned, have your chromosomes altered, then go screw yourself.

When I was in high school one of my classmates swore that men had one fewer ribs than women. I invited him to examine the picture of a human skeleton in one of the library books and he not only absolutely refused to look at it, he ran off. Ever since then I've called that "the Bible bolt."

I've even heard that on quizzes (adult.) Men have one less rib than women - true or false?

Mythology will never have a lick of credibility. Planes don't fly because the bird god of Horus. The lightbulb was not invented by Thor.

Actually, women have one fewer ribs than men - when she goes to the ladies, I sneak one off her plate.

Men have testosterone. If there were no women, there would be no humans.  Brawn is bullshit to claim it is the most important aspect of evolution.

You hide Twinkies and Ding Dongs and ABBA songs in every nook and cranny of your house. Under your mattress, under your floorboards.
