Putting it in my mouth
RE: Putting it in my mouth
Baked some french fries that I must have cooked just right to where the taste reminds me of potato sticks.

I liked it, but I get canker sores in my mouth from drinking it, due to the acidity. Haven't had it in years. Plus, now I can't eat tomatoes (or onions, or peppermint- wtf, peppermint?). Make of that what you will.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Pickle juice, the spoils of a large one gallon jar.

Debating whether to make a protein smoothie tonight. I'm not feeling very ambitious.

If tomatoes are a fruit then ketchup is a smoothie.   Fight me.

A Cuban sandwich. My skills are improving. And I bought an electric meat slicer, though I won't open it until Christmas.

Sockeye salmon and fried okra. As far as I know, this is the first time I've had sockeye. It was really good. And the okra turned out well. It was an experiment in substitutions. About the only ingredient that I didn't substitute was the okra itself. At least I'll know what to buy next time.

Oaxaca style tamales, one cheese and poblano chile, one pollo rojo, with habanero salsa and a little crema. I need more of this in my life.
