That sounds tasty. I'm a big fan of shepherd's pie.

Cheddar-jalapeno Brats with mustard and hoagie relish. I walked to Aldi's this morning to get some exercise, but they were out of their frozen shepherd's pie. I'll try a different Aldi's tomorrow.
Beer and pizza. There may not be a god, but there is a heaven.
Older daughter send me a Mother's Day package from Tiff's Treats. They seem to be mostly in TX but some other areas. They deliver hot, freshly baked cookies. I have given them as a gift before but not had any myself. The package had a dozen snickerdoodles and a dozen chocolate chip with pecan cookies. The chocolate chips were still melty. Yummy!
We made tacos yesterday so I am going to put together a dish of nachos for lunch...followed by an undetermined number of cookies. I had a snickerdoodle for breakfast and am thinking that was a pretty good idea, enjoyed it very much.
The plan is for turkey thighs, sage & onion stuffing, garlic & chive mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy. I'll probably end up eating poptarts.
The turkey is on, but I used an oven bag, so I'll have to improvise some.
Cheese tortellini in vodka sauce with cheesy jalapeno pull-apart bread.
Starting my Boston pork butt roast in the slow cooker. I browned it in the oven with it on broil and then put it in the slow cooker on a bed of onions and soy sauce. The recipe didn't call for any veggies, but I had some gold potatoes that needed to be used, so I threw those in on top. Now I just have to wait 9-1/2 hours.
I've got chicken tortellini in leftover pasta sauce planned for lunch. Chicken wasn't my first choice of meat, it was the only choice for meat-filled tortellini at Aldi's. I'll have to see what Cub and Target have on offer before my ILS worker comes tomorrow. |
