Really, that's the best you got? We all misspell, especially Valk when she's drunk.

NOBODY, NOBODY, AND I MEAN NOBODY in any part of the world in antiquity had any inclination as to what modern science today has proven. I am so fucking sick, of all parties involved, and I have seen all sorts from Christian, to Jewish, to Hindu, to Buddism to Muslim ect ect and MORE, all of them look back in time after the fact and claim they had insight and special knowlege to confirm "they" were reading into the future. NO THEY WERE NOT!

Some people in the past were incredibly smart, and figured out things that were pretty amazing.

But I agree with you that they couldn't see into the future.

Thank you.

There is a HUGE differenece between caculating with math and science, and the superstitious bullshit religion promotes.

If you had bothered to keep up with my drinking habits, I'm a one can a day drinker. Now, aren't you just feeling silly.

Slacker. A "real" drinker thinks in terms of kidnes and livers.

We owe an enormous debt to the Greeks for laying the groundwork for math and science as we know them today. These things didn't appear out of thin air in the 1700s. True, ancient postulates are ill-informed compared to modern scientific theories... but there is a reason so many of the scientific terms we use today are Greek words.

And Belaqua made an excellent point. Some of the ancients were way smarter than we take them to be. I used to think of ancients like ignorant children who hadn't discovered science yet. Then I read some of what they wrote and learned that I was the ignorant child.

I love it when I'm more reasonable than mods.

The rules say spam is not allowed. The rules don’t say spam can be fixed with hide tags.

If you bothered to keep up with 37s posts you'd know it not misspelling or typos...it's mis-wording...on the regular.  He thinks it's cute.  Just ask Po Pot.

Can we replace the Serious tag with Bitchy?

Bugger. I am kind of curious what the OP argued, but unwilling to invest any interest in a seagull post.
