Certainly not everyone has the same life experiences. I was bullied all the way up through high school myself.

But I did have a few escapes to distract me somewhat.

What do you mean "was bullied". You behave like "still bullied".
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Spanish moss, Big Cypress, unobstructed views of the gulf...unobstructed views of anything in general, running from a storm on the water. The usual shit that anyone misses I guess. Home. I try not to be envious of people who still have it, in case they were beaten like a dog or whatever and home just isn't to them what mine was for me - but it's hard.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I miss my old pedal tractor.  It was a beauty.  John Deere green with a yellow seat.

I never played with it.  It was a chunk of lead that wouldn't budge over the gravel and grass on the farm.  It just sat in the carport, then the shed, then somewhere else.  Seriously, what were they thinking?

But those things go for $500 or more now.  I could buy another guitar.

I worked in the factory that made those for a time in 1974.  The Ertl company.  We made everything from little John Deere tractors that were a couple inches in length to the pedal tractors.  It's the job that taught me that I didn't want to work on an assembly line.

I get it, but.....you brought alot of us real joy even if we couldn't play with the damned thing. I used to sit on mine in the carport and watch my grandfather disk sand. You were basically Santa, to me........

Every boy I knew had one of those tractors...including my brother.  Grandma and grandpa had a whole bunch of those farm toys at their farm and we spent lots of time playing with them.  My brother had a whole collection.  There's still a farm toy museum in my hometown.  That and The Field of Dreams is what home is known for.

I still have a couple small tractors stashed in a closet...actual die cast toys.

I worked there back in the day when there was an actual foundry in the building and we were continually buzzed from the paint fumes.  Fun times.

Nope. Looked for one, couldn't find one, bought my kids a lego ev3 instead.

There was one at grandma and grandpa's house but I preferred the set of Lincoln Logs.
