Unintended improvisation that makes the final cut.

It is my understanding, for example, that in the original Indiana Jones "Raiders Of The Lost Ark", that the seen that Jones ends up fleeing the Nazis to end up in a small desert town only to face off with a guy with a sword who keeps swinging it around, and the writers in reality didn't really know how to end the fight in the script, and Harrison Ford simply pulled out his gun and pretended to shoot the guy with the sword. The director loved it, so they kept it in the script. At least that is my understanding.
How about you, television or movies, post your stories of improvisation that was not in an original script that ended in the final cut. And no, I am not talking about late night shows or things like Saturday Night Live. Just scripted sitcoms, or scripted movies.

In Buster Keaton's "Seven Chances" movie there was a scene where he was chased by many brides but people didn't laugh at it, instead they laughed at a few rocks on the hill that got loose and followed him, so he reshot the scene with the whole avalanche of rocks in different sizes and it's one of the most famous scenes ever.

Not quite.
Harrison had come down with stomach distress and was simply too worn out and tired to go by the script.
He improved the shooting.
The hero is the stuntman David Richards, who reacted flawlessly to the improv.

When Jack Torrence fire axed his way through the door in ‘The Shining’, Nicholson’s ‘Heeere’s Johnny!’ was improvised. He said later he thought it would drive home just how unhinged Torrence had become.

Wow, I didn't know that, but it also doesn't surprise me. I think that axe scene is the most iconic part of that movie. That did make the movie goers of that time shit their pants.

Maybe, but regardless, the end result of Jones(the script) pulling out his gun and shooting as if to say "fuck it" was not the original intent.

Full Metal jacket. Ermey was originally a consultant before getting the role as Drill Instructor. All of his rants were ad lib based on his past as a real Drill Instructor.

In the first Star Wars movie, at the end where they're attacking the Death Star, the original script called for Luke's shot to miss. The Death Star wouldn't be destroyed, Luke would go home, and the sequel would be all set up.
But during filming Mark Hamill just said, ah, fuck it, and blew up the Death Star. Thousands of lives were lost. Worse, they had to get a new script for the sequel.
