What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?

Out of all the people who die in plane crashes, only about 20% are killed by the impact. The remainder die from a variety of causes, including fire, smoke inhalation, and cardiac arrest.

The language had no nouns before "might" came along?

That’s a silly question. Kind of like saying, ‘If Joe is the oldest man in the world, does that mean there were no men in the world before Joe came along?’.

I would think Medical Examiners/Coroners figure that out.

Got an email from the bank I have been using since 2006 letting me know that they are now going to charge me a fee for having a checking account with them regardless of the fact that I have direct deposit so they know there will always be money coming in.

Going to the email and the site shows that there is no number you can call though you can make an appt. with one of them. Such bullshit.

Another bank that I have a credit card with has been offering me a pretty decent incentive to switch to them for checking and savings. I have put the switch off because it would be a pain in the ass. Guess it's no longer a pain in the ass. The other bank can go screw themselves.

That's on the same level as your comment. They're both silly.

There is no such thing as a ‘decapitated head’.

‘Severed’. Decapitate means to remove the head, so unless you have one head growing out of another, a head isn’t decapitated.
