RE: The United States has not spent $ 300 million a day on war in Afghanistan.
Gay rights are on my list, pretty much have to be, as some human beings are gay and human rights must by necessity encompass gay human rights.

The question of whether or not rights are recognized here or there and the question of whether they're a real thing...not the same.

How much time, and what cost, and what number of combatants and civilians lives....are we willing to pay for that, today, for anyone? The answer in our case has been fiarly large. If the answer is zero in some other case, or our case for some other people.... we've frozen the map and consigned all other nations and people and future ideas to non-personhood, with no inherent rights. We never believed it, it was all and always and just a geopolitical ploy.

No one, absolutely no one..who loves liberty, can be satisfied with us withdrawal in afghanistan. They can love other things more, and be willing to trade the liberty of those people for those things.....but...meh.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
