Do conservatives believe the shit on Fox News?
August 28, 2021 at 7:41 pm
The op says it all. Do conservatives really believe the lies and shit on Fox News and other extreme right "news" agencies? Are they really that brainwashed? If so, I submit they are the very thing George Orwell was writing about in 1984.
Why is it so?

There was an asshole whom convinced a nation to fuck up the rest of the world to the tune of 50 to 60 million deaths. That fucker committed suicide in a bunker in 1945. Never underestimate the gullibility of humans.

And he had a son and named him Trump. The Trumps are German, after all.

Wow. Thanks for clearing that up. Don't know what I would do without your untold wisdom.

That seems overly melodramatic. People watch certain television programs, not because they're brainwashed, but because the content of the program resonates with them on a deeper level.

Yet there are many disturbing parallels between the two.
Fox "news" spreads misinformation and conspiracy theories and many believe it.

Fox "news" spreads misinformation and conspiracy theories and many believe it. I don't recall the Ministry of Truth spreading very many theories on anything.

The programs do the brainwashing, dummy. It didn't happen overnight. It took time. In this way, Murdoch is a genius.

There are multiple ways to get people to believe lies. One way is repeating a lie over and over.
Don't believe me? Just listen to your patron god: "If you say it enough and keep saying it, they'll start to believe you." - Donald Trump, speech in Florida, July 3rd.

I'm not sure where one of my neighbors gets his news. I guess I could ask. He was telling me about how a doctor was wearing a CO/CO2 detector while wearing a mask, and the monitor went off. I should have just said that that doctor should lose his license to practice medicine, but not knowing the details, I kept it shut.
As for "microchips in the vaccine", he at least prefaced his comment about Bill Gates doing so with the comment, "Maybe this is a conspiracy theory, but...". I assured him that I've worked in radiofrequency communications for almost 3 decades, and that shit just doesn't work that way.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
