Covid 19 conspiracies dump
RE: Covid 19 conspiracies dump
Yes, because the rest of the MSM have been doing so much of a better job than Rising. So much so, that Democrats believe that 50 % of unvaccinated people have been hospitalized. The non-stop fear mongering and othering from the MSM has definitely helped create a more informed populace, hasn't it?

And like I posted before, all news is fake news, except for God Emperor Assange, peace be upon him, and Wikileaks who can't tell a lie and literally just post data dumps.

I love how you have to engage in a red herring to defend the Rising  Hehe

Rising and the Hill are a fake news network just like any other, and are backed by big money. Happy? And two of the three people they had covering the issue were wrong. Two thirds of them are wrong, and the lady was speaking the truth, whether we like or endorse Rising and the Hill as a whole or not. I defend the truth the lady spoke, not the Hill in its' entirely as a network. There is a difference, you know.

Thereby inconveniencing themselves when they actually get sick themselves. And not even from COVID. Case in point: A few months ago, a man in Alabama had a heart attack and was turned down by 42 hospitals in three states before a hospital in Meridian, Mississippi (four hours away, mind you) gave him a bed to die in. And this happened because Alabama, Mississippi, and the third state that I couldn't find were so full of people who were so convinced that they needed to get back to normalcy without taking ANY of the necessary precautions that their ICUs were filled to the brim with COVID cases.

Which is why it's clearly a fantastic idea to fire thousands of nurses because of mandates, right? Even if those nurses have had covid and therefore have even better natural immunity than those who've taken the vaxx. When many unvaccinated nurses have even better immunity than the vaccinated ones, and are still not allowed to do their jobs, that shows that this is not about people's health. It's about compliance.

And we're assuming that natural immunity is superior to vaccination why exactly? Because the last couple variants, vaccination provided more immunity than just natural. And, if memory serves, I think there was a study that showed that getting the virus and then the vaccine after you recovered provided even more immunity.

So you're going to nitpick how much immunity having covid provides you compared to the vaccine, and you're willing to fire thousands of nurses because of this? No offense, but with the way you're writing, it sounds to me like you don't really care about those sick people needing beds staffed by nurses. Maybe I'm reading you wrong, but that seems to be the impression you are giving. It sounds heartless. Let's say for arguments sake that the vaccines give you a ten percent better immunity than having had covid. You want to fire thousands of nurses, even if that were the case? Why? And sure, having both covid and the vaccine gives you better immunity than just having one. I don't dispute that. Who gives a damn? Is that really your logic behind firing thousands of nurses? Leaving people in old folks homes with not enough nurses to take care of them to the point where they're shitting their pants and not having it cleaned up for days? You want to fire thousands of police officers who already have natural immunity? Why can't you just admit that having had covid gives you at least similar immunity to a vaccinated person, and that those nurses should be allowed to do their jobs? You can't even admit that, because it goes against the mainstream narrative, and you're afraid of stepping outside of that narrative to see the harm that your position is actually doing.

First off, you’re the one who started the question of whether natural immunity is better than vaccination by saying, and I quote

And frankly, about whether or not I think it’s okay for 5000 nurses who won’t take the jab to lose their jobs because of it, think of it like this: imagine that your nurse is refusing to take a simple precaution to prevent spreading whatever diseases her patients have to other patients. Would you want such a nurse taking care of you when you”re sick? That’s a malpractice suit waiting to happen. At least, assuming that the nurse in question isn’t able to mask her negligence with great bedside manner (Malcolm Gladwell talked a bit about this in Blink).

And then, you look at why they’re doing it, at best, it’s based on an erroneous assumption that, if you had it already, you’re good to go, which isn’t necessarily the case. And if it turns out that they’re not doing it because they bought into anti-vaxxer bullshit, shit that can often be easily debunked by anyone with an internet connection and half a brain, that tells me that this nurse doesn’t know what they’re talking about. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to put my health in the hands of someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

If someone comes down with measles they would have natural immunity to it...they may also have deafness and other not so fun side effects of suffering a bout of measles. With a vaccine your body builds up immunity without the severe illness that can result in lifelong effects.

Same for polio, ruebella, and a myriad of other illness that people are vaccinated for.

IA - it's really too bad their isn't a vaccine for being a dumbass...I would personally hold you down so that the shot(s) could be administered.
