The world is already getting less and less religious every day, and yet it's not becoming more authoritarian or communist.

Just for the record, I'm all for authoritarian socialism. It certainly would separate the weak from the strong.

Most civilizations have been run by authoritarians throughout history, and the vast majority were devoted to one or more religions. What have we got to lose?

Why do people pretend this is true.......atheism is definitely something. Atheists are all unified, in the sense that they all adhere to an atheistic world view. They certainly have enough influence to change the world.
If atheists had that much influence, churches would be taxed.
