Your wishy-washy self certainly can't be determining who is and who is not sincere.
That really doesn't make sense.......

OFC  it...makes sense?  You say it doesn't make sense, but that's actually not anything to do with sense and everything to do with how you're a specifically worthless person.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world.  Steady on mate. I agree that Ahriman is a bit of a dickhead and can be annoying. Hence I have him  on ignore.

I don't know the bloke except from how he presents here. Imo, as with everyone who comes here he is worthy of respect as a person. Even if only because none of us has enough information to judge others here as people

That's just my  2 cents..

You show up after a twelve year absence and figure you can tell people how they should react and respond to people you know little to nothing about? You have Ahriman on ignore...that's how you deal with it...you don't. And that's what the ignore function is there for. But you aren't in charge of how others choose to respond to anyone here. You seem to have the same problem as a lot of the theists who show up in that you think everyone should think as you do.

Some of us, based on a decent amount of experience, think Ahriman is a slow-burning troll, and trolls don’t deserve respect because they’re not sincere interlocutors. If he’s not happy about that perception of his presence here he has all the power in the world to change it. 🤷‍♀️

I am enjoying the fact that multiple atheists have chimed in about attending church for various reasons despite Ahriman's protestations. I created a thread about this very topic and of course Ahriman saw the ideas as ludicrous. It's just nice to see his tiny world crumble.

Interesting ad hominem ,including the non sequitor about how long I've been away.

I may have expressed myself poorly. I certainly didn't expect anyone to change because of my disapproval.

Fortunately, neither do I need your approval. I will express my disapproval whenever I see fit . It's up to the moderators to pull me up if I break any rules.

In the meantime, go fuck yourself

I agree that he's a troll. IMO that does not make him 'less than'. That was my point. I was actually surprised at the insulting response.

Should I then change my opinion because some one gets their panties in a bunch and attacks rather than engaging its cerebral cortex, as you have done?

I guess I'll need to agree to differ.

Where did I insult you? I was merely explaining to you where some of us are coming from. Of course, you don’t have to agree. What fun would it be here if everyone agreed on everything? 😛

If you think he’s an intentional troll, I don’t know why you’d stick up for the guy, but you’re free to feel however you want, as are others.

If you could get a really really really honest, anonymous heartfelt tally of people who attend church regularly on their level of genuine "belief" in God you would find that a large percentage of them don't. Believe, that is. So I think your argument is a big steaming pile of monkey turd.

Yeah that's not true at all.
