Trying to classify another individual’s gender identity and/or sexual orientation is like asking if the red that I see is the same as the red you see. I consider such to be absurd, and above all, superfluous. Such questions are best left to the individuals in question who may or may not seek the advice of professionals.
Instead, presume good will and honest intentions until objective evidence demands otherwise.

Oklahoma has passed a law regulating bathroom use in schools and requiring students provide an original birth certificate to prove they qualify for gendered bathroom access in an effort to stop trans kids from being trans.

Where I work there are two bathrooms. I always use the men's bathroom (because, I care more about how my fellow women feel than my fellow biological men feel). Today is "skirt day", and it is somewhat amusing how the men's bathroom can clear out when I come in. I get the impression that they are communicating about my movements!

Oh, well, in the gym I used to go to, women would sometimes enter the men's locker room to yell at some guy(s).

I also do my makeup in the men's bathroom. So unfair, as there is only one sink! The women's bathroom has two!!

Seriously, I’d like to point out for anyone who thinks that this might be a reasonable idea somehow, that this is an extraordinary step (gender regulation in women’s restrooms has ALWAYS been down to good faith self-identification for as long as gendered restrooms have been a thing, even in the 60+ years between Christine Jorgensen making headlines for her successful gender reassignment and the Republican Party deciding to make trans folk the new bogeyman) to combat a stupefyingly rare phenomenon (I’ve looked up several cases where a man pretended to be a woman just to be a creep in women’s restrooms and I can count the ones where the man even actually claimed to be trans on one hand.)

As I have sex only on my back, I am not sure why biological women would consider me to be a threat. Plus, I have shoulder length hair, which is not an asset in a fight. A mid-calf skirt presents an additional handicap.

My guess is they don't know how you have sex (which is extremely likely unless you have even less of a filter than I do.) And the fucked up thing is that, even knowing that, well, apparently Harvey Weinstein wound up being the Oscar Pistorius of Rape. Why? Because (and I'm hiding this because it's honestly disturbing even to me)
