The wife and youngest son put some goofball lights in the planter in front of the house, and some solar-powered "lanterns" in the side planter on the west side of the property. Not showing pics, humbug! We don't have room yet again to put up the tree, which is good/bad- don't have to put up the tree/no room to do it in.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
We've scaled back quite a bit too.

I admit to being something of a dog, but I draw the line at peeing on trees...now. I've been on backpacking excursions where said activity has happened, though.

There's no belt on the wheel...it's an old treadle machine and still has parts in one of the drawers. I bet if I found a belt for it, it would still function. Those old machines were pretty much indestructible. The cabinet is in great condition. Yea, my grams had one but I don't remember the box cover, she said it was from the 1920's. As kids we used to put paper on the slide plate and punch out designs.
