Not the original artists, but Hard Working Americans are a great fit. The Dish and I caught this live in Boulder, complete with Jason Isbell cameo. Included here because. . . I am.
Early in the day, but have a few beers first.

Ahhh, the good old days when songs actually meant something to people, unlike today
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

This song was in Matt Orchard's new video.
It sounds like Lana del Rey (or at least Courtney Barnett) guesting on a Neil Young song:
And now if only I could figure out what the guitarist (whether it's Ingrid herself or Tony Paine, probably the latter if all I know about lead guitarist/lead vocalist dynamics are any indication) is using to make those sounds.
