I find the whole J-pop aesthetic so different to Western pop - it's very alien and yet addictive. Cotton-candy for the ears.

I was listening to Stars of the Lid, a drone duo, on Spotify, but then as it went down the list, a band from Scotland called Ganger sneaked in, with a tune called "Lid of the Stars". Ganger are descibed as krautrock, which I know nothing about, but I like what I hear.
