Transgenderism in the tech industry

Of course some people are humans.

Lots of lifeforms have personalities and maybe someday non-human lifeforms will also become part of human society and effectively be honorary-humans.

And, yes, I can present a philosophical definition to support what I say. But a lot of non-philosophical definitions are incoherent (as are a lot of philosophical definitions. 99% of everything is crap, be it philosophy or non-philosophy).

But it doesn't make what I say any less true knowledge than what you say.

And this is why I don't like philosophy.

I don't know if transphobia is the worst form of bigotry in our time, but all of the various bigotries do seem to share a wheelhouse, to me..so. There are people who aren't transphobic, homophobic, or sexist..but theyre damned sure racists - too. Alot of the current appeal to racism comes down to a clever exploitation of liberal values.

When it's a lifeform that isn't human but still has a personality and consciousness or when it is able to be advanced enough in intelligence to be welcomed into human society as an agent with human rights even whilst technically not being human.

Another example would be an alien lifeform far more advanced and intelligent and conscious than us. With a much deeper personality than us. Maybe even humanoid looking. But not human. Such a lifeform would definitely be a person. They may even ask if we are one ...

I agree but I think that with regards to first world countries it's America that is especially racist.

Yeah, we're going through another redefinition of what right and left means in the us.  Nowadays, the dems are corporatists who want to talk infrastructure, and the republicans are welfare staters concerned about the plight of the white race.

Yes, no amount of how something behaves or does not behave makes a person or human. They may get to be treated at some level as human/people/person, but on a factual level they are not.

Yeah, we're going through another redefinition of what right and left means in the us.  Nowadays, the dems are corporatists who want to talk infrastructure, and the republicans are welfare staters concerned about the plight of the white race.

Yes, no amount of how something behaves or does not behave makes a person or human. They may get to be treated at some level as human/people/person, but on a factual level they are not.

The law, at least, does recognize the concept of a ‘non-human person’. This is generally done in regards to animal rights.
