I agree with 'fuck capitalism' or, more specifically, 'capitialism sucks'.
However ... I am not sure if there is actually a better alternative. Sometimes the lesser evil still sucks really hard.

I wish I had the privilege to not care about politics. Unfortunately, my very existence is a partisan political issue and I don't want religious fundamentalists to make me dead. And given the radicalization of the party that is hostile towards me combined with the lack of fight from the party that isn't, well, that has me scared. Like, "I'm making plans for if shit goes sideways and I have to run away to Canada" kind of scared.

I used to not care about politics when I was a kid (when I was under 18, and way under 18), but I should have. At least I should have at the state and the local-area level.
As for the thread and poll I liked the "I'm pro the specific party or politician I support. Fuck everybody and everything else." option so that's what I picked. I'm a Bernie Sanders follower here.
I'm still learning about hedge funds, taxation, economics, and complex politics like that, but my thoughts sum up to "the billionaire class (the 1 %ers type people) really shouldn't exist in a proper social democracy."
So social democracy ftw!
