Excellent plan - lets arm and train the kids so they can be safe - what a dumbfuck.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she believes children should learn how to use firearms to protect themselves in the event of a school shooting.
Speaking at a House Rules Committee meeting about the Second Amendment, Greene on Friday suggested the firearm training would help ward off potential danger.
"If my children are in school and a mad man with a gun comes to a school to kill people, unfortunately a psychologist is not going to be able to just talk him out of it," she said in a conversation with Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland. "That is not a good way to protect kids."
If the second amendment were enforced as intended Greene wouldn't be allowed anything sharper than a butter knife.

All 25 GOP members of the Ohio state Senate were recently sent "envelopes full of feces," according to a Thursday report from The Columbus Dispatch. The origin of the unwelcome deliveries, which the Republicans received on Thursday morning, is being investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the law enforcement arm of the United States Postal Service (USPS).

I have to swear that I am not sending anything dangerous when I mail a quilt or masks out to friends and family.

I mean, I can understand the idea of trying to make the most out of a bad situation, lemonaide out of lemons and all that, but, fuck, these republicans are doing this so much that it's almost like they're cheering for the rapist. Do they actually have any empathy for the many MANY women whose lives are going to be completely destroyed by giving birth? Do they care at all about the women who are going to literally die because of this? Do they show any empathy for any woman other than Margorie Taylor Green and Lauren Brobert?
"Hey, guess what! That 11 year old girl over there? She was raped by her sick uncle so she gets to have his baby! What an opportunity!"

So let's see if I got this right. Abortion is bad, there are plenty of adoptive parents. Adoptive parents are bad...so, what's that mean? The bio parents are the only parents that should raise kids even if they can't or don't want to?
