If Abortion Becomes Illegal

If Abortion Becomes Illegal
If the far right gets their way and makes this country look like a poor copy of the Handmaid' s Tale - we will need to make one more law -

I'd like to call it the Two To Tango Act.

It would mandate that all the fathers of unexpected babies be financially 50% responsible for all costs of that child. Pregnancy costs, maternity leave costs, food, housing, medical (including vison and dental), school costs, and 4 years of college education. Basically half of everything. Till the kid moves out of the house. ( none of this 18 years and done shit).

The far right should be right on board for this idea ...

After all - they claim to be the party of financial responsibility......

And --- if daddy tries dodging? A simple DNA test can prove paternity. Make dodging the responsibility a felony - and the punishment financial restitution back to the date of pregnancy - and castration of the offender. It will cut down on repeat offenders...

RE: If Abortion Becomes Illegal
If abbobo becomes illegal then people who are against it must be forced to wear a mask for a few hours on a plane during a flight because those same people that bitch about wearing masks for a few hours, insist that surviving nine months of an unwanted pregnancy is no biggie.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Where do you live that fathers aren't financially responsible for the child? A guy can have 50% custody and STILL pay child support. Hell, there have been people jailed for not financially supporting a child who isn't theirs.

If you happen to be rich, you pay 100% of everything....

"PJ Washington is now forced to pay $200k/month in child support over the next 18 years. Ex-wife secretly filed for divorce 2 weeks after giving birth to child," the tweet read.

Huggy, don't you know that The Sun is a tabloid?

Here's from other sources

Quote:PJ Washington is denying the social media rumor that he is paying $200k per month in child support payments to ex-girlfriend Brittany Renner. Yesterday on Twitter, the 22-year-old power forward broke his silence. He posted, “Stop the cap.” For older adults, this is slang for “stop the lies.”

But, nevertheless, child support could be one of the things that push men into supporting the legalization of abortion.

I’m laughing @Huggy Bear thinking child support covers 50% of cost for most families.

Can we instead make the state 100% financially responsible for all costs from the date of conception of an unwanted pregnancy up until the date they are capable of fully supporting themselves?

Don't believe I've even implied that.

The status quo will remain in place in 25 or so States; women will simply have to travel to the West or East coast for their reproductive care.

I think it is just too dangerous to have sex in a Red state.

RE: If Abortion Becomes Illegal
As I said on AD. If Roe vs Wade is no more, it will be delegated to the state level. The states striving to become a christian Iran or Saudi Arabia, will face a massive brain drain by educated and rather liberal people moving elsewhere. They also might lose businesses cultivating a liberal image and possible future investments.

Let's see, how they cope with the Fallout of this decision.
