My main question is what should we do to ensure that our children inherit good moral values? Also, how should we run society and education so that we can ensure that our communities don't fall apart?

How to insure our children have good morals?  You can't ensure that but the best thing to do is teach them how to think and act rationally.  America for instance, is a very anti-conceptual place.  People are proud of their anti-intellectualism.

How to run society?  Organize society around the principles of individualism.  Prohibit the initiation of force.  That is the best that you can do.

The education system needs to be conceptual instead of rote memorization and rationalistic in nature.  Start young by teaching the fundamentals.  Then when they learn more advanced knowledge they have a good basis to tie it all together.
"Do not lose your knowledge that man's proper estate is an upright posture,  an intransigent mind, and a step that travels unlimited roads."

"The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody has decided not to see."
