I think the stupid shit Facebook has like sending people kisses or candy is dumb, but I like things like the note system or especially the event feature. Being able to coordinate group events by making an event page and then inviting people, which gives them an email alert, is quite awesome in my opinion. Twitter doesn't do that.

Twitter is just a really simple way of blathering on about whatever you want. Only you get a character limit so you can't blather on too long.

And of course, that has it's charm.

My favourite social networking site is twitter. I see it as facebook with all the annoying "features" stripped away.
