We saw how Donald Trump’s supporters knocked a female Capitol officer unconscious. The “law & order” “back the blue” party violently assaulted a female police officer.

Why hasn’t the Republican Party or Fox News condemned this?

Because the only real police wear jackboots and black shirts and are called names like Sicherheitsdienst.

The problem is that for a large faction of the population, facts don’t matter, or they can’t tell the difference between a fact and a falsehood. It literally doesn’t matter how much evidence we have on the guy, which, based on what we already know, seems to be a ridiculous amount such that no rational person could deny what Trump tried to do with the 2020 election. But the reality is that it isn’t going to move needle one bit with regard to the voters. When are Dems going to learn that “look how awful Trump is!” is a lousy strategy? It failed them in 2016, and it’s going to fail them again. These hearings aren’t going to distract people from the fact that the party hasn’t been able to find its ass with both hands for two years.

Repeated lies gain more strength over time, but luckily so do repeated truths.  As long as liars are relentless, so must honest people be.

And really, for those who represent us, it's their job regardless of the outcome.  So no, this isn't about winning or losing, although many Republicans would like us to think it is.

Your condemnation of Democrats is therefore a false equivalence in my opinion, likely borne of frustration with Republican obstruction.

And every time they make telling the truth a prime time event, they give the GOP a platform to spread yet more lies and conspiracy bullshit out into the atmosphere people breathe like the viruses that they are. The less air these people get, the better. My gripes with the Democratic Party at the moment have more to do with the fact that we keep trying to play fair with terrorists. That, and the fact that they can’t get the even their own party to agree on the common goals of their legislative agenda.

This is what you should expect from someone who's repeatedly balked at the idea of prosecuting people for crimes they attempted to carry out, but didn't succeed in doing. Things like threatening to kill the Democratic Presidential nominee, placing pipe bombs at the DNC and RNC headquarters, or calling for the execution of the vice-President and, to that end, building a gallows outside the Capitol.

Every single person who aided and abetterd the January 6th coup, up to and including those elected officials at a state level who tried to substitute in a fake set of electors snd who nationally refused to certify the election results, are traitors and should be dealt with accordingly. The political and social organisations which aided and abetted them are terrorist groups and should also be dealt with accordingly.

And if anybody thinks that removing the republican cancer from the American body public would lead to a one party state, don't worry, without an opponent the Democratic coalition would quickly break up into its constituent parties.
