Some Republican yammerhead (I forget which one) is introducing a bill to put Charlie Kirk’s face on $1 silver coin. The value of the silver alone - leaving out the cost of minting the things - would be about $33. These wouldn’t be commemorative coins, but legal US tender.
I could be wrong (I often am) but that looks like 3200% monetary inflation. Boru

I'm surprised Metamussolini hasn't pimped junk to profit off of Kirk's death.
Or is it Metamucilini?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

N^From the article:
Quote:Jones’ “social experiment” may have been inspired by Vice President JD Vance, who went viral on Wednesday after he demanded Americans stop using the word “Nazi” as an insult. So…he wants it used as a compliment? Boru

Oh, look! it's Shitler!
ETA - What an attention ho
Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon are all named in copies of Jeffrey Epstein's daily schedules released Friday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
The schedules make reference to Musk possibly flying to an "island" in 2014, and Thiel and Bannon apparently dining with Epstein as recently as 2017 and 2019, respectively. Musk, the billionaire owner of Tesla, SpaceX and X and an erstwhile ally of President Trump, is listed in a Dec. 6, 2014, entry reading, "Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)." A Nov. 27, 2017, entry lists a "12:00pm LUNCH w/Peter Thiel." Thiel is a billionaire venture capitalist who has been a major donor to Republicans. An entry on Feb. 16, 2019 — just months before Epstein's death — lists a "7:00am BREAKFAST w/Steve Bannon." Bannon is a close Trump ally who served as a White House senior counselor during the president's first term. https://www.axios.com/2025/09/26/elon-mu...tein-files

^All of which explains Republicans’ reticence to release the Epstein files. Regardless of their excuses, I find it hard to believe that they give a wet fart about the victims.
