Almost all Ottoman Sultans have had portraits of them painted, mostly by the most famous painters of their times and Suleiman the Magnificent was known to be in possession of several marble Greco-Roman statues (among many other objects of art of great significance)
 
And in Iran. Music was even used for healing purpose and many forms of ancient Iranian music have entered Turkish culture as well. And I forgot to talk more about the famous Shahname:

I was looking for this image yesterday. You can go and see it at Harvard University Art Museum, it is also from the shahname and it is called “Braham Gur Killing the Wolf”.
