It's the 2022 Midterm predictions!

Maybe he can run third-party, so to speak.

Ideally, the MAGATs would schism from the mainstream Republicans. I’m a problem solver, I am.

Another quote that is right up there with, "The second Civil War is right around the corner"-type quotes.

The Republican Party will likely never die; ditto for the Democrats, who can trace themselves all the way back to Andrew Jackson, which developed from the Jeffersonian Republicans. Instead, the Republicans will adapt to the existing socioeconomic climate and things like the whole abortion issue will go quietly in the historical dustbin of Jim Crow laws, the "monster bank", forced removal of American Indians from their lands, etc.

Governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson, answers for the midterms in 26 minutes from a republican PBS can stomach.

Okay? Is this a case of, "Absolute power...". I didn't read "being snarky" as being a rule violation, unless you are now claiming feudal powers here, and when we are on "your manor" we do as you say??

If he subjectively interprets you as being mean to him, he'll give you a warning level. But that's just him being an administrator, innit?

If that was the case for admins, there is someone here who would have been long ago based on number or warnings.  I dream about pulling the plug.  It's not that I can't, it's not how things work.

Snark isn't against the rules and, for the most part, being an asshole isn't either.  Much the pity.

It's worse at AD, though, correct? Maybe atheists, as a whole, are just tolerant.

There are many people I like there from my TTA days.  There is one person in particular who keeps me from being terribly active there and IMHO they got the worst of the worst of TTA.

Try AD, it may work for you.  It doesn't really work for me.

AD is where most of the people landed when 'The Thinking Atheist' (TTA) forum closed down.

Oh, for the love of…

Let’s be clear - NO ONE is EVER going to get banned or warned for being snarky or mean (so long as the snark doesn’t violate actual rules). This was never, not once, said or implied.

That being said, there are cases where people have been warned for a rules violation and have taken it as a personal attack. My responsibilities as an administrator do not extend to soothing the butthurt of people who can’t seem to understand a relatively short and fairly simple set of rules.
