And the germans have been an unfairly maligned people for at least the past 70 years.

Even if the nazis were evil (they werent) why are they still being demonised after that many years?
We dont demonise the japanese or italians at all even though they too were enemies in world war 2.

It makes me think something else is going  on.
Like with covid censoring opinions on whether covid is real or not ( its not , its just a flu)

Who is demonizing Germans?

popular culture demonises nazi germany. Any racists are called neo nazis.
Even that there are neo nazis is demonising nazi germany.

Pretty sure hitler was trying to save europe from the malicious actions of an enemy, not establish a racist subculture that would last decades into the future.

The germans have been unable to access free speech since the war. Their education is controlled by foreigners and some basic historical fact is taboo.

It may not seem important if youre not german but  theyre demonised even today..

it's pop culture
literature is a real art
do you agree

Here it is. The dumbest thing I’ve read all day.
Nay_Sayer: “Nothing is impossible if you dream big enough, or in this case, nothing is impossible if you use a barrel of KY Jelly and a miniature horse.”

Wiser words were never spoken.

2001: A Space Odyssey

Act 1:  The intervention of an alien artifact causes a dying species of apes (oppressed by predators and other apes) to become Man: The Toolmaker

Act 2: Man the Toolmaker digs up a similar alien artifact on the moon.  It sends a beam in the direction of Jupiter.

Act 3: Man the Toolmaker makes a voyage to Jupiter (while oppressed by a predatory computer and a nation of other toolmakers) where a third alien artifact causes him to become a god-like being.

Lather rinse, repeat, apparently.

Just saw Banshees of Inershien the other day. The script was brilliant. It's literature brought to life. I don't think it's inherently intellectual, but it's certainly not for dummies.

That being said, I don't even know where to begin with such a prompt. It is so illogical that it must be trolling.

Nazis weren’t evil and COVID is just the flu?

Gosh, it’s like you’re all edgy and stuff.

It is.

Nazis have been maligned. Germans less so as they are not the same thing.

Quote:Even if the nazis were evil (they werent) why are they still being demonised after that many years?
The Nazis were most definitely evil and are demonized because they are evil.

Quote:We dont demonise the japanese or italians at all even though they too were enemies in world war 2.
We don't demonize them for the same reason we don't demonize Germans. We demonize Nazi's which are far more present in modern Germany then Italy or Japan.

Covid is most definitely not the flu. Covid is caused by SARS-CoV-2 while The Common Flu is caused by The Influenza Virus. They are not the same pathogen.
