Pizza toppings

RE: Pizza toppings
When we do takeout, we usually get bacon and mushroom. On New Year's Eve we make our own pizza. Last night we made two bacon/mushroom, one with anchovies, olives and capers and one Gouda with caramelized onions.

The heartburn I get from tomato sauce has led me to omit marinara from my homemade pizzas. Instead, mine get a light sheen of olive oil and a sprinkling of Italian herbs.

You should try alfredo sauce, homemade of course.  Amazing.

Whenever I get a frozen pizza I only get it with meat and then add my own vegetables to put on top.  Much better than mushy peppers and onions.

Stop!  I'm salivating all over my keyboard.

Good choices.

I’d settle for people to stop telling me, ‘You only say you don’t like pizza because you’ve never had it from [insert name of insanely obscure pizzeria here]!’

I'm reminded of an old joke about what is the perfect date? The perfect date is a woman who turns into a pizza and a six-pack at midnight.

I have, though the sauce wasn't homemade, and was unimpressive. I've never made an honest alfredo, but I bet I could still do better than what I had.

I do not get frozen pizzas, as they are of the Devil himself. I either make my own pizzas, or get a takeout from one of the two good pizza places we have locally.
