I'm boiling a batch of Yukon Gold Potatoes this evening. I took a couple of days off from the potato diet. I'll be back to eating potatoes tomorrow. I plan to check my weight again on Sunday or Monday. Some 3XL T-shirts that I was ready to throw out a few weeks ago fit me again.  Great

For now, my goal is to lose weight to the point in which I can walk about without the use of a cane.  Thumb up

I tried all kinds of diets: Atkins, intermittent fasting, high carb, calorie restricted ... nothing ever lasts more than a year for me, and anything I lose just goes straight back on with extra. I've never been my appropriate weight for my height, not even close.

Who knows, maybe the secret was potatoes all along? Smile

I've been off the potato diet for a few days. I had a tooth extracted last week and had to consume soft foods, like cottage cheese, for a while. I had frozen yogurt for lunch yesterday. My jaw was a bit tender for a while, but It's almost back to normal now. No hot foods for a few more days, however. I'll be back to eating cold potatoes today.  Hungry
