Lots of people are selling their condos here. The guy next to us said he's leaving because they're significantly raising the HOA fee this year. Still, it will be cheaper than renting.

I would live in a refrigerator carton under a bridge before I’d subject myself to an HOA (we call them Resident’s Associations).

Tell ME what colour I can’t paint MY house? Fuck that.

I live in an HOA subdivision but they're pretty relaxed and allow exceptions quite frequently. The golden rule seems to be 'don't fuck with neighbors property values'.

I'm in an ancient HOA (formed in '68), but currently they only take dues for maintenance of the "park", which is a few acres, with a clubhouse, two pools, a tennis court, half-basketball court and a large area of grass. Also a children's gym set. Very nice, at about $50 per month. Never used any of the facilities, myself.

Start with one of these (or at least with a body modified to look like one of these):





Add a translucent pickguard, and under it, put something like this:





And program the LEDs to respond to notes like this (a modified version of Alexander Scriabin’s colour schema for “Prometheus”):




And maybe make it an Esquire instead of a Tele, especially if we’re not working with an original smugglers’ Tele.
