Maybe not for this thread, or perhaps it's been covered elsewhere on the forum, but as I'm new here can I ask how that came to pass? (Why you were homeless, how you worked out of it etc). If it's not something for people [or me in particular] to know, it's not a problem, I'm just interested in your story 

It has been posted throughout the forum, mainly this thread I think.

I was unemployed at the time.  The boyfriend was becoming increasingly frustrated with work since he hated the place.  We fell behind in paying the rent where we were staying.  Even his next paycheck was not going to cover the rent.  He took the money, went gambling at the casino, and lost it all.  He quit his job.  We were homeless, living in the car, for approximately six months if I recall accurately.  The only good thing was that we were able to park the vehicle in a friend's driveway and use their bathroom: there was no room in the trailer for us.

Bloody Hell, that sounds crazy. Are you two still together? 

Amazing stuff bring this back around and getting back into work/qualified though. As the saying goes, when you hit rock-bottom, the only way is up.

Fair play for sticking together as well, some would cut and run, but if you love somebody you both have to make it work.
