My arms aren't THAT hairy - but they're less so now.
Melting 100 lbs of lead over a wood fire - (casting lead hammers) - and the wind shifted as I was getting a ladle full. I had welding gloves on - but all the hair past the glove cuff is gone....

I lost a lot of hair doing that. I also made about 20 bikers laugh their heads off.
