I love how French people put a space between words and question marks/exclamation points. For some reason I find it cool in a quirky way.

I had an idea today to create a restaurant where the staff were all wheelchair bound and the kitchen was set up especially for them.
There's no waiter. An apprentice wheels out and places the meals on a bench with a heat lamp and dings a bell.
The customers walk down an incline so they're at the same height as the server.
The name of the restaurant is The Wheel and Barrow.
I'm telling my friend about it and she points out that the wheelchair users would need to touch the wheels that had touched the floor and it would be a health and safety issue.
Bitch fucked my dreams.

Also, they don't actually grab the wheels. There's a rail around the edge of the wheel they use.

I think, and I've given this not much thought up until recently, that people judge themselves too much about what they've accomplished in life and base their own worth on stuff they done. I think this can be a trap of thought, because it becomes a competition with yourself to out-do yourself in whatever you do from day to day. You are not what you do, you're merely human, who happens to have done x, y & z.

I was going to post that I agree in part with this, but then I realized that would just be one more action which isn't really required or important.  Then there is all the effort I expend inhaling and exhaling every day.

I am almost finished playing Dragon Age Inquisition.

I only have the Deep Roads, Arbor Wilds, and Valley of Sacred Ashes left, but the game still says I'm only at 57% done.

No matter. When I'm finished, I'll create a new character and start anew.

I'm just an ideas man, I'll never do anything with it.
I'm moving my whole focus over to zombies.
I'd like to try my hand at creepy pasta.

I've had wheelchairs in the past for my mobility issues, and the main part of my hand below and outward of my thumb would always hit the rim. 

Interesting idea, but I think it would creep me out.

My mother and I have wildly different tastes in food and music.

About a month ago, I watched X-Men: Apocalypse.  Around the beginning of the movie, there is a scene where the Star Trek episode "Who Mourns for Adonais" is playing in the background.  Now, IMO, there is an interesting parallel between Apollo (the powerful being from the ST episode) and Apocalypse (the seemingly omnipotent mutant in X-Men): they are both very powerful; they want to bring order to humanity and bring them back to the ways of the past that they once ruled; they have big egos; they view themselves as gods; they demand that they be worshiped and disdain those who challenge their way of thinking and existing.  In addition, I kind of saw an interesting parallel between the enterprise and its phasers blasting full throttle and Jean Grey's powers fully unleashed.


P.S. The special way that Professor X and Jean are able to communicate without Apocalypse being aware of it, reminds me of how the enterprise (via the efforts of Spock and Uhura) was able to find a clever way of communicating with Kirk without Apollo's knowledge.
